We are in Costa Rica now! The warm weather, tropical fruit, and low cost of living were big attractions. A job that lets me telecommute was the final straw and we were on our way.

We found some good information today, and thought we’d share the links with you.

Essie Honiball is one of our favorite people in the area of health. We found an interview where she echos our findings about how the quality of fruit is not what it was 50 years ago when she regained her health eating a largely fruit diet.

At 70 years of age, Sunny Griffin looks better than many 50-year-olds. See her interviews, part one and part two.

We find the quality of the fruits and vegetables here to be low, as in most other parts of the world. The soil continues to become depleted, and very few minerals are put back into the soil, especially since that advent of commercial fertilizer. For a really fascinating story along these lines, listen to Don Jansen’s story. It’s about 50 minutes long, so if you don’t have time now, put it on your mp3 player and listen to it while you are driving, or listen while you fold the clothes.
