Running Raw
Tim VanOrden has been eating fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds
for a year and a half. He runs mountain marathons. Unable to continue
running at the age of 20 because of asthma and knee problems, and with
only a few months of training under his belt, this 38-year-old will be
making an attempt to compete in the upcoming Olympics.
Making it into the Olympic games after 18 years of inactivity would be
an unprecedented feat. Runners train for years to build up the level of
endurance and cardiovascular efficiency required for this level of
competition. Can he do it?
For a fascinating video interview of Tim, visit G Living and watch “Show 0010 Mountain Runner Tim VanOrden”.
